Wonderful colors, fantastic image of young boy dressed in work clothes. This lithographed tin sign States "Ise just been paid for picking Buchu Leaves for Smiths Buchu Lithia Kidney Pills / 100 Pills 25 cts.". This beautiful, colorful and very rare advertisement comes in its own original frame with original brass tag on middle bottom. Colors are bright and strong. Black Americana is a highly desirable category and this is one of the best images in the in the game. The detailed image throughout this iconic sign "POPS" when viewed in person. Some areas of scratching and soiling, sign may improve with a good cleaning. Some evidence of a possible early clearcoat, if so was done a long time ago. Bottom right-hand corner stamped "Chas. W. Shonk Co. Litho. Chicago.". This is a sure centerpiece in any collection, we've never seen one in this good of condition.
