Attractive Chinese AKS-223 as registered by “SWD Inc., Atl, GA.” and is so marked on underside of receiver to the left of the trigger guard. Also marked forward of magazine well "IMPORTED BY KENG’S FIREARM SPECIALTY, ATLANTA, GA”. Left side of receiver retains original Chinese manufacturer marking and serial number. Selector markings indicate “S”, and “F” with an added cut for fully automatic fire incidental to conversion by SWD to being a select-fire registered receiver machine gun. Action cover is hand stamped, “0729” on left side. A single 30-round magazine is included with this machine gun. Manufactured in 1985, the NFA electronic registry indicates “FORM 2 REGISTRATION” as the manufacturer. Incoming registration form indicates, “SWD Inc. Atlanta, GA”. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original lustrous blue finish. Unfired since conversion. Wood furnishings also near excellent with typical bruising where the folding stock comes in contact with forearm. Magazine extremely fine. Bore is near excellent, shiny, and bright. Bolt extremely fine. Mechanics are fine. A very popular design and model in .223 for the enthusiast who wants to shoot the same caliber out of their AK as their M-16 machine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2021-11-064.

CORRECTION: This rifle is in .223 according to the BATF registration form but has been converted to the more popular 7.62x39mm cartridge. This caliber change can be reflected in the NFA registry through requesting correction upon transfer.
