Was blessed by a priest who attested that it was bone of the reliquary of a saint inside the top of the handle. The insert is removeable to show the wax seal of the bishop. Numerous surgical instruments inside, including three metal-handled scalpels, a bone scraper, a folded clamp, a 5" probe, rare clamp scissors, forceps, two double-ended probes and more. Doctor's canes with compartments are the rarest canes of all. C. 1880. 37".
