Bloodstone handle has a 1 - 1/2" hand chased sterling collar on an original snakewood shaft that is hand engraved. Snakewood is the rarest and most expensive wood because the pattern is so strong. A shaft would run $300 to $500 for wood if you could even find it. C. 1880. 38".
