A carousel horse in a rearing position, wonderfully restored and beautifully displayed on a contemporary base. It has a wonderful bird-motif saddle, with the bird facing backwards. This particular hand-painted scrollwork is excellent, adorned with glass jewels throughout and with glass eyes. CONSIDERATIONS: Excellent plus overall, with original leather rein and original horsehair tail. There is one area of age cracking in the upper portion of the neck, which does not distract from the overall look of this very well-done piece.
This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
