1920, FRANCE: This is a complete mechanism to a motion advertising piece. The clown reaches into a wooden box and pulls out and advertising sign, puts it back and pulls out another. This example is missing the box around the mechanism and the frames for the advertising signs the clown reveals. These advertisers have been reproduced in recent years, but this is an original mechanism waiting for a cabinet and signs to work. CONSIDERATIONS: As noted, needing restoration to work correctly. The clown has great eye appeal, clothing is in great shape, and he has a composition head with glass eyes.
This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
