German Mauser Model 71 carbine made by Spangenburg and Sauer in Suhl, Germany in 1877. Round 20" blued rifled carbine style barrel with protected inverted V front sight and rear graduated flip sight. Octagonal-shaped single shot action with matching bolt and matching stock hardware. Walnut full military stock with period style. CONDITION: 80% fading arsenal finish with some small surface corrosion. Wood has been cleaned with some light handling marks. Dark but shootable bore with good mechanics. DLM
