SP1 manufactured by Colt in 1979 and subsequently converted to a machine gun. The left side of the magazine well is stamped with the encircled Rampant Colt logo beside "COLT/ AR-15" over "CAL. .223/ MODEL SP1/ SER. SP105393", with Colt's manufacturer information present above the trigger area. Selector switch is marked "SAFE" and "FIRE" with the fully automatic position being unmarked. Features include a 10 - 1/2" threaded barrel, perforated quad-rail barrel shroud, Knight's Armament rail covers, SureFire M900A Millennium vertical foregrip with integral flashlight, "ACOG/ TRIJICON" marked 1x24 reflex sight with flash filter, unmarked replacement upper, as well as a Lewis Machine & Tool SOPMOD buttstock. This example is mounted with a YHM Phantom silencer, and is accompanied by 5 additional contemporary magazines. Manufacturer block is listed as "COLT IND HARTFORD CT" and Model block is listed "AR-15". This lot will incur 2 transfers if transferred via a Form 4. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory applied finishes, exhibiting some scattered superficial handling marks from use overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Polymer furniture is excellent. Trijicon reflex optic is clear. Silencer is excellent, showing a few marks from handling and storage on its exterior, and showing signs of light usage in the interior. A nicely kitted out SP1 rifle converted to a machine gun that is ready for the range. THESE ARE NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEMS AND REQUIRE BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THESE ITEMS ARE FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORMS 3 OR 4 AND WILL INCUR TWO SEPERATE $200 TRANSFER TAX FEES IF TRANSFERRED VIA A FORM 4.
