1 of approximately 8,000 Rasheed rifles manufactured by the United Arab Republic. Left side of chamber bears the Egyptian pschent crown stamp above Arabic numbers denoting the year of manufacture (1966), and the serial number. Left side of receiver bears an electro-penciled serial number and is stamped "RASHEED 7.62 MADE IN U.A.R" followed by Arabic characters. Bottom of barrel bears a Century Arms International import stamp. Barrel retains its barrel nut and is mounted with a spike bayonet. Complete with a plain cardboard box. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining much of their blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to grey and brown patinas. Mint bore, exhibiting well-defined lands and grooves throughout. Wood stock shows some scattered impressions and handling marks, but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
