AKS-762 manufactured by Polytech for commercial sales. Left side of receiver bears the Chinese "416" within a triangle arsenal code above stampings stipulating the model and caliber designations, with manufacturer information present above the trigger guard. Bottom of receiver bears a Keng's Firearms Specialty import stamp. Lower handguard is cut and barrel retains mounts for a bayonet attachment. Metal components are blued and are mounted with smooth wood furniture and a underfolder stock. Matching numbers are present on the receiver, bolt, and bolt carrier. Rifle is accompanied by an original importer box and retains 3 magazines, spike pattern bayonet, cleaning kit, holster, oiler, as well as its original manual. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some scattered light superficial marks from handling and storage. Mint bore, exhibiting well defined lands and grooves throughout. Wood furniture is excellent, with the grip exhibiting a ding on the right hand side and the lower handguard showing a couple light impressions from the stock. Importer box shows some external wear, but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
