German World War II M42 double decal police helmet marked "EF6x" for the maker "Emaillerwerke A.G.", in a shell size likely to be "64", and a lot number of "61". Shell exterior retains 40-45% of its era applied rough gray-green paint, with freckling and scattered marks throughout. Police decal is approximately 50% with chips, scattered marks, and some varnish remaining. NSDAP party decal is approximately 65% with damage, and some varnish. Interior retains approximately 40% of its gray-green finish, with dust and freckling. Original zinc liner band is present, appears untouched with freckling. Rivets but have not been disturbed. Medium brown leather liner has 1 tongue broken, has heavy staining and is very dry, cracks, and heavy flaking around its rim. Drawstring is present but ripped through on several tongues. Chinstrap is broken and has 2 inches remaining on both sides. CONDITION: Overall fair to good. WEZ
