Lot consists of (A) Vickers Mk. IV tripod with azimuth disk. Metal components have been painted green with the locking handles being painted black. Front of tripod is marked "RSSD.W/S. / JOD.9.66/ SER" in white paint. Azimuth disk is comprised of brass and steel. Tripod "feet" are spiked. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their reapplied painted finish, exhibiting some spots of minor flaking and wear, as well as a few small areas of light oxidation. Azimuth is excellent, showing some marring around the edge from use, but is otherwise fine and serviceable. (B) Vickers wood transit chest. Chest has been repainted, exhibiting no painted characters or numbers. Interior has been painted orange. Interior wood fittings are present. CONDITION: Excellent, showing some scattered marks overall from handling and storage. Rope handles are excellent. MLW
