Both canes c. 1890. This lot of two includes a mini bugle cane for a fox hunt and train steam whistle cane. The mouth piece is original and is tied on with a chain. The shaft is black ebonized flexible exotic wood and the ferrule is nickel plate over brass and steel. Train steam whistle cane. Has three different notes. The shaft is bamboo. The ferrule is nickel plate over brass and steel. Steam trains and fox hunts were both popular in the 1890's.
