Manufactured in the early 1990s as a heavy barreled match target variant of the Colt AR-15 Sporter. This example features a 20" matte finished "C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7 HBAR" marked barrel with bird cage flash hider, post front sight, and an adjustable peep rear sight fitted to the carry handle upper receiver. Matte finished lower receiver marked on left side with Colt logos and model information. Furniture is of the A2 style with ribbed polymer 2-piece forend, checkered polymer pistol grip, and fixed position butt stock with checkered trap butt plate. Rifle is fitted with an aftermarket charging handle and carry handle mounted CJA 3x20 scope. CONDITION: Very good. Metal components retain nearly all of their finishes, showing only light marks. Furniture is excellent. Fine bright bore showing strong rifling. Good mechanics. BAS
