Pre-Ban Yugoslavian AK-47 semi automatic rifle. Made late 1980s and imported by American Arms INC of Missouri. This rifle was part of a small batch imported by the company, before Mitchell Arms started importing them. Import marked on the right side of the receiver. Matching electro-penciled serial numbers on the trunnion, carrier, and dust cover. Bolt does not match. The importer designation for this rifle is "AK", which is marked on the right side as well. This rifle is in M70B1 configuration, with the exception of lacking a grenade sight. Threaded barrel with slant cut muzzle break. Original blued finish and oiled wood stock. Yugo plastic pistol grip. No magazine is included. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish. Some dried grease is seen on the back of the receiver and trunnion area. Wood is excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
