Yes! This is a registered receiver Curio & Relic eligible fully transferable HK 223 machine gun. Forward pinned 4-position pictograph selector lower with a magazine release “tab” on the bottom of the magazine well. The gun was manufactured in 1966 as indicated on the left side of the magazine housing. Also marked “HK .223” on left side of magazine well left of the serial number. No markings of any kind on the right side of this weapon. Gun features include a composite shoulder stock and horizonal forend. No magazine present. Electronic NFA registry indicates “HECKLER AND KOCH” as the manufacturer. PROVENANCE: From the collection of esteemed NFA firearms enthusiast and collector J. R. Moody. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent dull grey original finish with only the slightest of handling marks discernible. Composite furnishings of buttstock and pistol grip near excellent. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select-fire machine gun. An outstanding low serial numbered example of a genuine Curio & Relic eligible Heckler & Koch machine gun suitable for the most discerning and forward-thinking collector.
