Extremely attractive original Heckler & Koch registered receiver G3 FS machine gun manufactured in 1981 with proof mark “IB” indicating 1981 manufacture on left side of magazine well. Typical “Made in Germany / HK Inc.” with “ArL. VA. 22201 Kal. .308” on right side of magazine well. 3-position selector, “0, 1, 20”. Attractive green composite, buttstock, and forend. Electronic NFA Registry indicates “HECKLER AND KOCH”. PROVENANCE: From the collection of esteemed NFA firearms enthusiast and collector J. R. Moody. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent finish throughout with white filled lettering on right side of magazine housing. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt is also near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select-fire machine gun. A very clean and attractive state-of-the-art modern rifle caliber machine gun.
