Short stroke gas piston operation with adjustable gas, A2 flash hider, bayonet lug, Swiss style black forearm, protected post front sight, 4 position drum diopter rear sight, Trijicon RM05 red dot with 1TH5:5 marking (KJV: Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.". Side folding skeletonized stock. Left side of lower with "5724" and "S 1" fire controls (S in white, 1 in red). Upper with "JS 001024" and "SIG 556 5.56 NATO SIGARMS INC, EXETER, NH USA". Strategically applied pieces of felt have been placed to prevent unintentional rubbing or silvering. CONDITION: Overall very good, showing only a few very minor marks from handling and storage. Legends are crisp. Top of buttpad has crystallized and is missing a 1 x 1/2" chunk; the buttpads on these guns were known to have various issues. Mechanically fine, bore is very good with light frosting visible on lands. Red dot is functional. EMW
