Model 12S manufactured by Beretta. Left side of receiver is stamped "P.M. - BERETTA MOD.12 S - Cal. 9m/m Parabellum" followed by the serial number, with several small Italian proofs present ahead of the receiver cap. Right side bears Beretta USA Corp.'s importer information and a "MADE IN ITALY" stamp. Features include a stamped steel construction, matte black finish, 7 - 3/4" barrel, post front sight, flip-up rear sight with graduations from 100-200 meters, grip safety, 2-piece serrated black plastic grips, as well as a black polymer foregrip. PROVENANCE: From the collection of esteemed NFA firearms enthusiast and collector J. R. Moody. CONDITION: Very fine, with metal components retaining ample amounts of their original factory-applied matte black finish, exhibiting very few superficial marks from handling and storage overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined lands and grooves throughout. 2-piece grips and foregrip show a few minor marks from handling and storage but are otherwise fine. A very fine example of Beretta's Model 12S submachine gun. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
