The Barrett M82 is perhaps to most iconic .50 BMG caliber weapon of all time, with its distinct features and the preponderance of use in media. Classic configuration with black finish, 4 port arrowhead muzzle brake, fluted barrel, protected front post flip-up sight, ventilated forearm, bipod, monolithic section of rail welded on top of receiver for mounting of scope, ladder rear sight graduated out to 1500 yards, pistol grip. Mounted with an scope that has a mil-dot reticle, and simply marked "16x42" and with an Asia Optical sticker; it is this cataloguer's suspicion that this is an early Tasco era Super Sniper. Left side of magazine well with manufacturer information. Housed in a Pelican style Starlight case with accessories comprising cleaning kit, manual for rifle, and a plastic sleeve that appears to have held that magazine. CONDITION: Very good overall, with some scattered handling marks from handling, storage, and assembly. Bore has sharp rifling and a few spots of minor abrasion, bolt face is excellent with some evidence of use. Mechanics are crisp. Glass is clear with some spotting that appears to be internal and may clean. A prime setup for a shooting enthusiast looking to reach out and touch something. EW
