"B" prefix gun made in 1941. Top of the receiver is marked "CAL. 30-06 SEMI-AUTO / JOHNSON AUTOMATICS / MODEL OF 1941 / MADE IN PROVIDENCE, R.I. U.S.A.". This is all in front of the patent dates. The barrel bushing is marked ".30-06 / 41". Barrel is marked ".30-06" on the chamber as well. Bolt serial does not match, being numbered "B8689". Cranston Arms logo on the heel of the receiver. Standard blade front sight, sitting inside sight protectors. Rear peep sight adjustable to 900 yards. Original parkerized finish. Oiled wood stock with checkered metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 85% of its original finish, with light wear and handling marks. Wood has handling marks and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine.
