(C) HIGH CONDITION EGYPTIAN CONTRACT FN-49 SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLE.

FN-49 semi-automatic rifle manufactured by Fabrique Nationale under contract for Egypt. The left side of the receiver is stamped with FN's manufacturer information as well as with Arabic characters, with the top of the receiver bearing the Egyptian crown crest over the chamber. Bottom of barrel bears a Century Arms import stamp. Rear aperture sight graduations are in Arabic. Metal components exhibit a blue finish, with the stock and handguard being comprised of solid hardwood. Matching Arabic numbers are present on the receiver, receiver cover, bolt carrier, as well as the bolt. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their blue finish, exhibiting some areas of silvering from operation, as well as some small scattered spots of inactive oxidation. Bore is bright, exhibiting mild inactive oxidation and strong rifling throughout. Stock appears to have been lightly sanded and revarnished at one point, exhibiting some minor superficial marks from storage and handling overall. MLW
