Circa late 1940s-early 1950s British Overseas Airways (BOAC) Boeing 377 Stratocrusier aluminum desk model. In October 1949, BOAC was permitted to purchase 6 Boeing 377s Stratocruisers for transatlantic flights. Constructed of aluminum, the fuselage is decaled, painted, and lacquered to represent one of BOAC's Stratocruisers and most likely resided in the office of an airline executive. The model is mounted on an aluminum base which features BOAC Stratocruiser decals on the front and sides. The Stratocruiser is not secured to the stand and can be removed. Propellers are of clear plastic simulating rotation. The model is unmarked except for "072/532" which is written with marker underneath the fuselage and measures approximately 13 - 1/2" with a 23" wingspan. The decals exhibit wear but remain legible and in good condition. Paint exhibits typical aging but is nicely preserved. Smooth finish. Base retains its black paint and crisp decals. Overall very good.

Condition: (Very Good).

Item Dimensions: 18" x 23" x 13".
