The first is in the shape of a pistol and says "There's no Kick When You Use Griffith's Coffee / D. A. Griffith & Sons / Uniontown, - Penna.". It has the wonderful and brightly colored image of Uncle Sam to the right of the barrel of the pistol, with a coffee can between the two images. On Side B, the wonderful image of Uncle Sam and the pistol is instead separated by an image of Griffith's Butter, reading "It Hits the Mark". The second is a die-cut easel back showing the stoic Uncle Sam dressed in star-spangled banner clothing, marked "Hayes Litho Co. Buffalo N.Y.". He is holding the privilege panel. This is in unused, excellent condition, with one small 1/2" crease in the upper left-hand corner of Uncle Sam's hat, only noticeable upon close inspection. The third is the iconic Uncle Sam dressed in star-spangled banner clothing and hat and with a smirk on his face. He is using a bullhorn. Stamped "6 78". The easel back is missing on this piece. The back is stamped "Novelties / Stock Number on Face of Novelty / Not Less than 250 Sold", followed by prices for bulk quantities and "The above prices include advertisement printed in artistic style". The privilege panel is in unused condition. There is some minor edge wear, again only noticeable upon close inspection.
