The sign maintains the original wood backing for mounting to outside corner and stamped in the bottom middle is "BS STATE ST CHI & HARVEY ILL." It has some edge wear consistent with age and use with some chipping in the field on the "I" and the "M" in "ICE CREAM" that does not distract from the overall look. Good gloss with strong colors. A large powerful piece with very bold coloring!
