The sign reads "FRED ERICKSON, WHOLESALE LIQUOR DEALER. ERICKSON'S PURE RYE WHISKEY." This powerful image shows a World War period submarine with whiskey bottles floating in the sea. Stamped at the bottom of the ad is "ASHLAND. WIS." Evidence of crinkling in the bottom right hand corner and reads "MEEK COMPANY COSHOCTON O." Overall, it shows wear and scratching with some restoration evidence and is housed in a period frame.
