Standard configuration G.43 manufactured by Berlin-Lubecker in 1944. The left side of the receiver bears an "(Eagle) / 243" waffenamt followed by the serial number, an eagle firing proof, "G.43", Berlin-Lubecker's manufacturer code "duv", and "44". Barrel is stamped "CF" followed by what appears to be "duv" within a shield, as 2 "(Eagle) / 214" waffenamts. Stock waffenamts are illegible. Matching numbers are present on the receiver and bolt carrier, with the remainder of the bolt assembly being electro-penciled and mismatched. Metal components are blued, with the exception of the trigger guard which is parkerized. Stock is comprised of laminated beech wood. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning overall that show through to brown patina. Bore is bright, exhibiting some minor inactive pitting and retains strong rifling throughout. Stock is excellent, as appearing to have been lightly sanded. MLW
