All World War II correct U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Underwood between July of 1943 and March of 1944. 18" Underwood barrel dated "3-43" with Flaming Bomb. Correct WWII style Type I front sling band with 3 weld scars and unmarked swivel. Correct "EU" marked milled front sight and correct "S" marked rear flip sight. Ordnance Bomb marked Type IV stamped trigger guard. Correctly marked trigger group with Underwood parts, push safety, and World War II style magazine release. Recoil shield is marked "AU". Correct internal parts with correct unmarked round bolt. Walnut oval cut low-wood stock marked with "MU" in sling well and uncut for M-2 with correct crossed cannons and G.H.D./U.F.F. stock cartouche. Walnut 2-rivet top wood marked with correct "M-U" stamp. Missing magazine and sling. CONDITION: Overall good with 90%+ arsenal finish on metal remaining. Stock shows dry original finish with good cartouches with light handling marks. Good bore with ME of 1 with good mechanics. A great looking all correct World War II carbine. DLM
