U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Standard Products between April of 1943 and May of 1944. 18" "UNDERWOOD" marked barrel dated 9-43 with Flaming Bomb. Post-War arsenal rebuilt rifle with "N" marked milled front sight, Type III rear sight marked "PI", and bayonet style "MMQ" marked front band. "N 16" marked trigger group with mixed parts, later flip safety, and M-2 style magazine release. Recoil shield marked with "SG". "W" marked flat bolt with "ROCK-OLA" marked slide. Walnut oval cut low-wood stock, unmarked in sling well, with "P" proof on grip and uncut for M-2. Walnut 2-rivet top wood with "IO" marking. Comes with unmarked 30-round dented bottom magazine and CMP Letter of Authenticity. CONDITION: Overall good with 90%+ arsenal finish on metal remaining. Stock has been lightly cleaned with light handling marks and is slightly oil soaked. Good bore with ME of 1 with good mechanics. A great looking carbine. DLM
