U.S. M-1 Carbine manufactured by Rock-Ola between April of 1944 and May of 1944. 18" Rock-Ola barrel. Post-War arsenal rebuilt rifle with unmarked milled front sight, Type III rear sight, and bayonet style "IS" marked front band. Rock-Ola marked trigger group with mixed parts, push safety, and M-2 style magazine release. Recoil shield marked with "E3". Unmarked slide well with flat style bolt. Walnut oval cut unmarked low-wood stock with cut for M-2. Walnut 4-rivet top wood with "IO" stamp. CONDITION: Overall good with 90%+ arsenal finish on metal remaining. Stock has been lightly cleaned with light handling marks. Good bore with ME of 2 with good mechanics. A great looking carbine by desirable contractor. DLM
