U.S. M-1 Carbine manufactured by Irwin Pederson and assembled by "S'G'" (Saginaw Grand Rapids) between April of 1943 and May of 1943. 18" "UNDERWOOD" marked barrel, dated "6-43" with Flaming Bomb. Post-War arsenal rebuilt rifle with "N" marked milled front sight, Type III rear sight, and bayonet style "AI" marked front band. Correct "SG" marked trigger group with mixed parts, later flip safety, and M-2 style magazine release. Recoil shield is unmarked. "IP" marked slide with "S'G'" marked flat bolt. Walnut oval cut low-wood stock with no markings and cut for M-2. Walnut 4-rivet top wood marked with "HI". Comes with 15 round "S'G'" marked flat bottom magazine. Comes with green woven sling and unmarked oiler. CONDITION: Overall good with 90%+ arsenal finish on metal remaining. Stock has been lightly cleaned with light handling marks. Good bore with ME of 2 with good mechanics. A great looking carbine. DLM
