U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Standard Products between April of 1943 and May of 1944. 18" "UNDERWOOD" marked barrel dated 6-43 with Flaming Bomb. Post-War arsenal rebuilt rifle with "R" marked milled front sight, "H-L" marked Type III rear sight, and bayonet style "JM" marked front band. Inland marked trigger group with mixed parts, flip safety, and M-2 style magazine release. Recoil shield marked with "U". Part number marked slide well with "C-U" marked flat style bolt. Walnut oval cut unmarked low-wood stock, not cut for M-2, with illegible markings. Walnut 4-rivet top wood with no markings. Comes with CMP letter. CONDITION: Overall good with 90%+ arsenal finish on metal remaining. Stock has been heavily cleaned with marks illegible. Good bore with ME of 2 with good mechanics. DLM
