U.S. M-1 Carbine manufactured by IBM between August of 1943 and May of 1944. 18" "IBM CORP." marked blued barrel dated "9-43" with Flaming Bomb. Post-War arsenal rebuilt rifle, most likely for use in Austria, with dished unmarked milled front sight, Type III rear sight, and bayonet style "JM" marked front band. Trigger guard marked "LGKST / 2074" which stands for "LANDES GENDARMERIE KOMMANDO STEIERMARK" and a rack number. Unmarked trigger group with mixed parts, later flip safety, and M-2 style magazine release. "N15" marked slide well with "U" flat style bolt. Walnut oval cut low-wood stock marked with "O-RMC" in sling well, uncut for M-2. Walnut 2-rivet unmarked top wood. Comes with leather sling and CMP Authenticity Paper. CONDITION: Overall good with 90%+ arsenal finish on metal remaining. Stock has been lightly cleaned with light handling marks. Good bore with ME of 2 with good mechanics. A great looking carbine. DLM
