U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Inland Division of General Motors between January of 1944 and August of 1944. 18" "INLAND MFG DIV. OF GENERAL MOTORS" marked barrel dated "6-44". Arsenal post-War rebuilt rifle with unmarked milled front sight, Type III rear sight, and bayonet style "AI" marked front band. "BE-B" marked stamped trigger group with mixed parts, later flip safety, and M-2 style magazine release. Recoil shield marked with "RIA". "ROCK-OLA" marked slide with "SG" marked flat bolt. Walnut oval cut low-wood stock with no markings and cut for M-2. Walnut 4-rivet top wood marked with "HI". Comes with 15 round "U" marked flat bottom magazine. CONDITION: Overall good with 90%+ arsenal finish on metal remaining. Stock has been lightly cleaned with light handling marks. Good bore with ME of 2 with good mechanics. A great looking carbine. DLM
