U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Quality Hardware between February of 1943 and September of 1943. 18" "I.B.M. CORP." marked barrel dated "11-43" with Flaming Bomb. Arsenal post-War rebuilt rifle with unmarked milled front sight, Type III rear sight, and unmarked bayonet style front band. Inland marked trigger group with mixed parts, flip safety, and M-2 style magazine release. Recoil shield marked with no marking. "PI" slide well with "N-14" marked flat style bolt. Early style 2-piece tube and recoil spring. Walnut oval cut illegible marked low-wood stock with no cut for M-2 and remnants of crossed cannon cartouche on right side. Walnut 2-rivet top wood with "IO" stamp. Comes with 15 round "U" marked dented bottom clip and CMP Letter of Authenticity. CONDITION: Overall good with 90%+ arsenal finish on metal remaining. Stock has been lightly cleaned and oiled with light handling marks. Good bore with ME of 2 with good mechanics. DLM
