U.S. M-1 Garand with receiver manufactured by Springfield Arsenal in February of 1945. 24" military finish barrel, "SA" marked, dated "7-65", with AMF stamping and rechambered to 7.62x51mm NATO for naval use. Stamped trigger group with all "SA" parts. Cut "SA" marked op-rod with "NM" marking near op handle and "SA" marked bolt. Walnut stock with "AAX" rebuild markings and correct hardware. Correct late style military sights. Comes with CMP letter of authenticity. CONDITION: 90%+ arsenal refinished metal with 90% remaining arsenal refinish on stock. Excellent bore with ME of 2 and TE of 2 with excellent mechanics. Correct naval gun. DLM
