Manufactured circa 1981. Phosphate finish throughout. Classic 20" "C MP CHROME BORE" marked pencil barrel chambered in .223 with added period "MUZZLE MIZER" compensator. Original iron sights are retained but superseded by a carry handle mounted Banner Bushnell 4x scope. Lower receiver is marked on left with rampant Colt trademark and pertinent information. Furniture is of the A1 style including black polymer 2-piece triangular handguard, checkered pistol grip, and fixed position stock with trap butt plate. Rifle is accompanied by a 20-round Colt magazine, an aftermarket 30-round magazine, black woven sling, and rubber scope caps. CONDITION: Very good overall. Some light scratching and evidence of use present, with lower also showing some factory casting flaws that would not affect function. Very fine bright bore displaying crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Optic is clear. BAS
