M1A manufactured by Springfield Armory. Rear of receiver is stamped "US RIFLE M1A / SPRINGFIELD / ARMORY" above the serial number. Metal components exhibit a green parkerized finish, with the barrel exhibiting a stainless steel finish. 1-piece buttstock is comprised of wood, while the upper handguard is comprised of brown plastic. Additional features include a flash hider, National Match pattern blade front sight, and a match grade hooded aperture rear sight. Rifle is fitted with a vintage brown leather sling as well as a plastic muzzle/front sight cover and plastic rear sight assembly cover. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining virtually all of their factory applied parkerized finish, exhibiting some very mild wear from operation of the action as well as some very light superficial marks from handling and storage. Mirror bore, exhibiting sharp and well defined rifling throughout. Stock is extremely fine, exhibiting few superficial marks overall. MLW
