Lot consists of (A) Photo of the Telephone School, Camp Jackson, South Carolina, 1918. (B) 23rd Regt. U.S. Infantry at Camp Travis, Texas, 1921. Image shows parade formation of mounted officers, individual battalions, and the regimental band. (C) Circa 1900-1901 large format albumen image of the 1st Regt. of California Volunteers taken in Manila during the Philippine Insurrection. Image details show Springfield .45-70 "trapdoor" rifles that were still being issued to volunteer units as late as this conflict. (D) HQ Division Trains image, 13th Armored Division, 1951. Details show combat infantry badges, and numerous WWII veterans. (E) World's record 3" anti-aircraft record target fired by B Co. 63rd artillery. Prominently shown is the towed aircraft target and the company guidon. (F) US Army training company photo taken in Indianapolis. (G) WWI era image of unknown Army cantonment. Visible are numerous motor lorries and tents. CONDITION: Very good overall with some light creases. All are suitable for framing. PROVENANCE: Roger Bender Collection.
