U.S. M-1 Carbine manufactured by National Postal Meter between February of 1943 and September 1943. Correct 18" Underwood marked barrel with illegible date and no visible import marks. Mixed internal parts with late style flip safety, magazine release, bayonet lug, and late style rear sight. Walnut low cut wood with "SA" marking and cut for M-2. Unmarked 2-rivet top wood. Comes with green woven sling, canvas U.S. marked 1943 dated 2 magazine pouch, "IT" marked 15 round flat bottom magazine, and oiler. CONDITION: Overall good with 90% original military rearsenaled finish remaining. Stock has some scuffs and rub marks. Barrel is decent with a ME of 2+ with good mechanics. DLM
