Model 52 Redningsgavar (Rescue Rifle) manufactured by Kongsberg Vapenfabrikk in Norway. The left side of the barrel is stamped "KONGSBERG VAPENFABRIKK/ CAL. 12m/m MADE IN NORWAY PATENTS PENDING. Metal components are parkerized, while the stock is comprised of solid wood and features a transparent checkered plastic foregrip. Line throwing gun is accompanied by its original transit chest, marked "LINE THROWING GUN" and "MADE IN NORWAY" on the lid. Chest retains instruction card on the interior of the lid, with several boxes of blank 12mm ammunition, 2 complete and sealed rockets, 2 additional rocket heads, weighted line throwing head, an additional line canister, as well as several small tools and other accessories. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their factory applied parkerized finish, exhibiting some losses from storage and handling, as well as a few spots of mild surface oxidation. Mirror bore. Stock is very good, with a few marks overall. Transit chest exhibits scattered marks from handling and storage, with areas of additional paint, flaking, and some minor losses. Lid exhibits a few splits that do not appear to effect serviceability.
