Thompson Model 1927 semi-automatic Vietnam War Commemorative made by Auto Ordnance Company in West Hurley, New York circa the late 1990s and issued by the American Historical Foundation of Richmond, Virginia. 18" blued round barrel with gold plated compensator and sight. Blued and matted finished receiver marked with Vietnam mottos on right, manufacturer's patents and address on left, gold plated rear sight cradle, and blued military style flip sight. Comes with matted and maker marked 20 round detachable stick magazine. Walnut high lustre finished stocks with South Vietnamese seal and "IN HONOR OF THE VIETNAM WAR" medallion on walnut finger grip. Gold plated op-button, trigger, and sling swivels. Does not come with usual wooden display but has tags stating authenticity and that this gun has not been fired if tags are still present. CONDITION: Excellent with some light storage damage and surface rust.
