Sten Mk II submachine gun manufactured by Special Weapons Co. of Wilmington, North Carolina. Left side of receiver tube bears stampings stipulating the serial number as well as Special Weapons Co.'s manufacturer information. Magazine well is stamped "STEN.MK.II". Metal components exhibit a standard parkerized finish, with the receiver tube exhibiting a smooth parkerized finish. CONDITION: Very good overall, with metal components retaining the majority of their original arsenal and factory applied parkerized finish, exhibiting scattered superficial marks from handling and storage as well as some areas of mild edge wear. Barrel exhibits thinning and wear, showing through to a pleasant brown patina. Bore is bright, exhibiting moderate oxidation and good rifling throughout. With readily available replacement parts and components, the Sten line of submachine guns has remained a popular choice among entry-level collectors and enthusiasts.
