U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Underwood between July 1943 and March 1944. 18" I.B.M. Co. marked barrel, dated "12-43" with standard military front sight and later rear adjustable sight. Barrel is not import marked. Carbine has undergone rebuild with correct but mixed internal rebuild parts. Walnut high wood "I" cut stock, uncut for M-2, with no stamps and no markings in sling well. "RMC" marked walnut 2 rivet topwood. No magazine. CONDITION: 80% original arsenal finish with heavy carry wear. Wood has usage marks and dings with honest surface. Good bore with ME of 2 and good crisp mechanics.
