U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Winchester between December 1943 and November 1944. 18" "W" marked undated barrel with standard military front sight and later rear adjustable sight. No visible import markings. "W" marked milled trigger group with push button safety. Correct round "W" marked bolt with 7160091 numbered Winchester slide. Walnut correct high wood Winchester stock, uncut for M-2, with correct crossed cannons stock stamp and "W" in sling well. "W" marked walnut 4 rivet topwood. Comes with reproduction G.I. woven sling and oiler. Missing magazine. CONDITION: 80% original arsenal finish with light carry wear. Wood has usage marks and ding with traces of original arsenal finish. Good bore with ME of 2 and good crisp mechanics. Gun appears to be an all-correct Winchester M-1 Carbine.
