This is a wonderful pair of rare "cold dog" ice cream scoops. Cold dogs was a desert dish around the turn of the century where the cylinder was pressed into the ice cream and them inserted into a chocolate covered "bun" thus making an ice cream version of a hot dog. (or cold dog). (A) An aluminum version, unmarked, but seldom seen. CONDTION: Clean and operative. No repairs or issues. (B) More commercial cold dog dipper, wooden handle and also lever action. CONDITION: Showing little wear and retaining most of the original plating. Interested bidders should refer to the internet for more photos that represent a great reference for condition.
