U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Winchester between December, 1943 and November 1944. 18" "W" marked undated barrel with Winchester Proof stamp and standard military front sight and early flip rear sight with import markings. "W" marked milled trigger group with push button safety and later style magazine release. Correct blued flat "W" marked bolt with unmarked slide. Walnut low wood "IO" marked stock, uncut for M-2. Unmarked walnut 2 rivet topwood. Comes with G.I. woven sling and oiler. "AI" marked 15 round flat bottom magazine. CONDITION: 80% original arsenal finish with heavy carry wear. Wood has heavy usage marks and dings with cleaned surface. Good bore with ME of 1 and good crisp mechanics.
