U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Underwood between July, 1943 and March 1944. 18" "Underwood" marked 2-44 dated barrel with "P" stamp and standard military front sight and early flip rear sight with import markings. Unmarked stamped trigger group with push button safety. Round bolt with slide. Walnut low wood "W.R.A." marked stock, uncut for M-2. "IO" marked walnut 2 rivet topwood. Comes with reproduction G.I. woven sling and oiler. "SW" marked 15 round dented magazine. CONDITION: 80% original arsenal finish with heavy carry wear. Wood has heavy usage marks and dings with cleaned surface. Good bore with ME of 2 and good crisp mechanics.
