Paper advertising Hon. W.F. Cody Buffalo Bill Chief of Scouts and Guide for the US Army. Period frame, behind glass. Marked in the bottom-middle, "General Sheridan Appointing Buffalo Bill Guide for Grande Duke of Lexus and Royal Cortege on Their Great American Buffalo Hunt." Dated 1872. CONDITION: Extremely graphic and bold colors. Depicts multiple scenes including Native American wars, buffalo hunts, stagecoach and Wild Bill in the center after war time. Small, non-distracting crease along the bottom edge. Slight staining, mostly contained to the outside edges.
