Model 50 submachine gun manufactured by Madsen under contract for Venezuela. The left side of the receiver is stamped with the Venezuelan coat of arms above "FAP" and the serial number. Firing selector is marked "F" and "S". Inter American import stamp is present on the right side of the barrel. Major metal components exhibit a parkerized finish, with some smaller components exhibiting a black enamel finish. Additional features include a clamshell receiver design, fixed blade front sight, peep rear sight, as well as a side-folding buttstock. NFA Registry indicates "FORM 2 REGISTRATION" in the manufacturer block. Electronic NFA registry indicates "FORM 2 REGISTRATION" as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Near excellent, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their parkerized finish, exhibiting some scattered marks from handling and storage that show through to mild silvering. Bore is bright, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. An attractive example of a Venezuelan contract Madsen M50 submachine gun.
